Mission and Vision

 

Protect and support child rights in the state, as clearly specified in the Constitution of India and in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC); ensuring that the rights of all children in the state of Karnataka are protected irrespective of their caste, gender, religion, etc. In this context, the Commission carries out the following important duties:

  1. Conducting enquiries in the cases of Child Rights Violations and passing appropriate orders.
  2. Examining factors that prevent enforcement of child rights and making recommendations to theGovernment.
  3. Conducting research in the field of Child Rights.
